Driveway Border

This project was undertaken over a full year as both existing beds were overrun with perennial weeds. These were treated and the ground covered for 6 months, resprayed and finally planted up in October and November 2019. In this first flowering season the structural shrubs are establishing and will provide fragrance during the winter, summer flowers and winter foliage. Climbers are just beginning to put on some growth and in time will clothe the wall in summer scent. Bulbs have been planted to provide interest throughout the year and perennials provide contrasts in foliage, flower shape and colour.
